I started working as a health care assistant back in 1982, when I worked under a Matron of a nursing home in Bournemouth.

I enjoyed my work so much I continued my job and turned it into a career. I had studied very hard and eventually I qualified and gained my bachelor’s with Honours in Integrated Health and Social care.

I do not feel I could have ever done anything else during my career, I have worked in various settings both in the NHS and in the Private sector.

My passion is to ensure that each person I assess for care is personalised around their needs and that I ensure they get the best possible care they deserve.

I would say that I have a huge passion for those living with dementia. I also run an online social media group for dementia support for families, I currently have over 7,00 members from all over the world.

In my spare I raise money for various Charities which I must say I get a lot of satisfaction from. I enjoy meeting up with my friends and family and having get together to.

I enjoy green areas and live in the countryside where I am surrounded by nature, and wildlife.
